Meet 'Osteopath Pat'
When Pat's not treating or furthering his Osteopathic skills, you'll most likely see him whizzing past you on his morning run, paddling his stand up paddle board or volunteering as a lifeguard for the Avoca Beach Surf Club
'Osteopath Pat' is a confessed fitness and health fanatic, but is balanced enough to understand life still needs to be enjoyed. Health and wellbeing supplies most his zest for life, but indulging from time to time is what also builds a more fulfilled and well lived lifestyle. Like osteopathy, balance is the key to a long and healthy life.
'Pat the Osteopath"
Pat graduated as an Osteopath in the year 2000, obtaining his Master of Health Science in Osteopathy from Victoria University in Melbourne. This training was undertaken following his thirteen years of experience as a registered nurse. During this time Pat learnt the all important
'bedside' manner and patience that comes with workin in health services. Somehting he still highly values today (and makes him so approachable). Pat also holds a certificate in acupuncture (dry needling), a technique which he can integrates into his treatments on request.
Pat is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association and is accredited by Workcover, Dept. Veterans Affairs and various private health funds, enabling him to practise as a qualified health practitioner.
